Christopher P. Dean

Experience

Christopher Dean is an associate attorney in Ober|Kaler's Health Law Group. He advises physicians, hospitals and other health care facilities on Medicare/ Medicaid billing and compliance, the Maryland Patient Referral Law, the Stark law, the anti-kickback statute, physician recruitment, electronic health records and e-prescribing, HIPAA, HITECH and patient privacy. He also advises ambulatory surgical centers, assisted living facilities, home health agencies and other health care facilities regarding licensure, the Certificate of Need program and other regulatory matters.

Chris has also worked with clients on a variety of antitrust issues, mergers and acquisitions, the purchase and sale of ambulatory surgical centers, professional corporations and other entities, contract negotiation, entity formation, employment and consulting agreements, and other corporate and limited liability company matters.
