David G. Kinzer
Experience
David G. Kinzer is Director of E-Discovery in the Litigation Group at Ober|Kaler.
As an attorney in the litigation group, David has over 10 years of experience in litigation and investigation matters involving electronic discovery. In his capacity as Director of E-Discovery, David takes a leadership role in the document control process, systematically tracking documents from preservation to collection and through review and production. Working with clients, other attorneys, litigation technology personnel, and e-discovery vendors, David tracks changes in the law and advises regarding their implications on issues related to discovery. Additionally, he functions as a clearinghouse of outside e-discovery vendors and technologies, matching the best solution based on complexity, timing, budget, and necessary support to the specifics of a given matter.
He has extensive experience drafting litigation hold memos, creating and implementing preservation and collection strategies, and managing electronic data processing and review endeavors. Additionally, David has worked with corporations to establish and develop methodologies and best practices for information governance and litigation preparedness. Prior to starting a legal career David worked as a consultant in the technology industry.
