Elissa F. Borges
Experience
Elissa F. Borges is an Ober|Kaler principal who practices with the firm’s Litigation and Tax Groups.
Elissa focuses on complex commercial and business litigation in federal and state courts. Most recently, she has responsibility for national representation of pharmaceutical manufacturer clients in state attorney general litigation and related class actions asserting consumer protection and fraud-based claims arising from the pricing and marketing of prescription drugs.
Elissa also represents clients in tax controversy, creditors’ rights and fiduciary litigation matters, and before administrative agencies in hearings and appeals.
Elissa, a Maryland Bar Association fellow, is the former chair of the Bar’s Section Council. She also serves on the board of directors of the Maryland Family Network, Inc. and the Mariner Swim Club, Inc.
