Paul Sugar Receives MVLS Leadership Circle Award

BALTIMORE — September 23, 2008 – Paul S. Sugar has received a 2008 Leadership Circle Award from Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service (MVLS). The Award is given to those individuals who have provided a significant level of support to MVLS through pro bono service and financial contribution.

A principal in Ober|Kaler and a member of its Construction Group, Mr. Sugar is extensively involved in pro bono activities. For the last four years, he has served on MVLS's Board of Directors. He also serves as chair of Ober|Kaler's pro bono program.

Mr. Sugar is active in numerous other community and professional organizations and projects, including the Baltimore Jewish Council; the Baltimore Bar Foundation Board of Trustees; Associated Builders and Contractors, Baltimore Metropolitan Chapter; National Association of College and University Attorneys; and the American, Baltimore City and Maryland State Bar Associations.
