John Anthony Wolf Elected Chair of BVU Maryland

BALTIMORE MD – September 3, 2008. The law firm Ober|Kaler today announced that its Chair and CEO, John Anthony Wolf, has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU) Maryland.

As Chair, Mr. Wolf will work with BVU to fulfill its mission of connecting people and businesses with local nonprofits that need help. BVU directs individuals to appropriate volunteer opportunities, and it helps organizations create and manage successful corporate volunteer programs. In addition to his work with BVU, Mr. Wolf also serves on the boards of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, Maryland Mentoring Partnership, the Union Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Marshall Foundation and Washington & Lee University.

Mr. Wolf’s practice at Ober|Kaler involves construction contract negotiation, litigation and alternative dispute resolution matters. He is a highly regarded attorney and has been selected for such rankings as Maryland Super Lawyers (2007 and 2008) for Construction Surety; The Best Lawyers in America (since 2003) for Construction, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Commercial Litigation; and The International Who's Who of Construction Lawyers (2005). He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Wolf is a graduate of Washington & Lee University (B.A., 1969 and J.D., cum laude, 1972).
