Carter Named One of 2011 Leading Women

BALTIMORE MD – October 13, 2011 Ober|Kaler announced today that Kristin Cilento Carter, an associate in the firm’s Baltimore office, has been named one of The Daily Record’s Leading Women for 2011.
Leading Women recognizes women age forty or younger for the tremendous accomplishments they have made so far in their careers. Winners are judged on professional experience, community involvement and commitment to inspiring change. This year’s winners will be honored at a reception on December 1 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore.
A health lawyer at Ober|Kaler, Ms. Carter represents physicians, hospitals, laboratories and other health care providers in matters involving federal and state fraud and abuse laws and regulatory compliance issues.
She is active in the American Health Lawyers Association and a member of the Health Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. In 2010, she was named a Maryland Rising Star in Maryland Super Lawyers.
Ms. Carter also proudly serves on the Board of Directors of Moveable Feast, a Baltimore non-profit that delivers meals to homebound people living with HIV/AIDS, breast cancer and other life-challenging illnesses.
