Intellectual property lawyer Scott Johnson is quoted in The Business Monthly in a piece on the incentive program Maryland makes available for film and television production projects in the state. Scott chairs the Maryland Film Industry coalition.
"Maryland workers get busy when great projects like "Game Change," "VEEP" and “House of Cards" choose Maryland. We applaud Sen. Kasemeyer for introducing Senate Bill 1066," said Scott Johnson, MFIC chair and copyright attorney with Baltimore-based Ober|Kaler. "Thanks to the Maryland Film Production Employment Act of 2011, Maryland businesses are currently experiencing the tremendously positive economic impact of film production activity."
