Maryland IP Attorney Scott Johnson Selected for Who's Who Legal Trademarks USA 2006

BALTIMORE – April 6, 2006 E. Scott Johnson, chair of Ober|Kaler's Intellectual Property practice, has been selected for inclusion in Who's Who Legal, USA - Trademarks, published by Law Business Research Ltd., the official research partner of the International Bar Association.
Headquartered in Ober|Kaler's Baltimore office, Mr. Johnson leads a comprehensive IP practice that includes patent, copyright, trademark, and licensing services for the health care, technology, entertainment and media industries. He is nationally recognized and has appeared in every issue of "The Best Lawyers in America" since 2003.
Mr. Johnson is currently serving a three-year governor-appointment to the Maryland State Arts Council. He was recently re-elected to his third term as chair of the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation. He is past president and current board member of Maryland Lawyers for the Arts and serves on the board of directors of the Creative Alliance and the Washington Area Music Association. Mr. Johnson is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
In 2005, Mr. Johnson was inducted as a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation.
Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Maryland.
He lives in Canton.
