Sulerzyski Honored with Volunteer of a Lifetime Award
September 27, 2012
BALTIMORE MD – The law firm of Ober|Kaler is pleased to announce that Victoria Sulerzyski has received the 2012 Volunteer of a Lifetime Award from United Way of Central Maryland. The award was presented at the September 20 Tocqueville Society event, hosted by Henry and Dorothy Rosenberg, in recognition of central Maryland’s philanthropists and their impact on the community.
“We are incredibly proud of Victoria’s devotion to organizations protecting fragile children,” says John Wolf, chair of Ober|Kaler.
Ms. Sulerzyski’s volunteer experience spans more than 10 years and includes time served as a member and immediate past chair of the board of UWCM-funded partner PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs. As a board member of the Kennedy Krieger Institute and an advisory council member for the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Ms. Sulerzyski has more than demonstrated her lifelong commitment to caring for the community and advocating for children with special needs.
"It is an honor to accept the 2012 Volunteer of a Lifetime award from the United Way of Central Maryland on behalf of the thousands of children PACT serves each year,” said Ms. Sulerzyski, an associate in the firm’s Trusts and Estate group. “The dedication of PACT's staff, along with the generosity of the donors of the United Way of Central Maryland and of Ober|Kaler, provides an excellent opportunity for me to make an impact on many children and their families who are dealing with significant special needs."
Ober|Kaler is a national law firm providing integrated regulatory, transactional, and litigation services to financial, health care, construction, and other business organizations. The firm has more than 125 attorneys, and offices in Baltimore, Washington, D.C. and Falls Church.
