Baltimore MD – November 21, 2013 Jackson B. Boyd, an associate at the law firm Ober|Kaler, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Baltimore Museum of Industry. His term will run through 2016.
Established in 1981, the museum works to collect, preserve and interpret the industrial and technological heritage of the Baltimore region for the public by presenting educational programs and exhibits that explore the stories of Maryland’s industries and the people who created and worked in them.
“I’m delighted to work on behalf of the Baltimore Museum of Industry,” says Jack. “The museum fulfills an invaluable mission in not only curating our city’s innovations, but also in providing educational programs for citizens of all ages throughout the state.”
Jack practices in Ober|Kaler’s Construction and Litigation Groups. He handles complex civil litigation with a concentration in construction, business and financial matters. In the construction law arena, he represents owners, general contractors and subcontractors in contract formation and construction disputes on a variety of private and public projects. In 2013, he was named a “Rising Star” in Construction Litigation by Maryland Super Lawyers.
Jack is an avid community supporter. In addition to his work with the Baltimore Museum of Industry, he serves on the Advisory Committee for the Business Volunteers Maryland GIVE Program.
