Baltimore Lawyer Sharon Snyder Named to Village Learning Place Board

BALTIMORE August 26, 2005 Roland Park resident Sharon Snyder has been named to the Village Learning Place board of directors.

A principal in the Baltimore office of law firm Ober|Kaler, Ms. Snyder practices civil and employment litigation. Professionally active, she serves on the Board of Governors for the Federal Bar Association, Maryland Chapter and on the Executive Committee for the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers.

Ms. Snyder is an alumnus of the University of Maryland School of Law (JD, 1987) and Loyola College of Maryland (BA, 1980) where she recently concluded her term as Loyola College Alumni Association president.

Established in 1977, the VLP is a community library and learning center providing free access to information, resources and educational programs to promote literacy, cultural awareness and lifelong learning.
