Ambulatory Care Facilities
Ober|Kaler's Health Law Group represents ambulatory care facilities at every stage of the business lifecycle. Our attorneys work with many different types of ambulatory care facilities, including ambulatory surgical centers, mammography centers, episodic care facilities and after-hours pediatric centers.
During the initial planning stages of establishing a facility, clients turn to us for assistance in obtaining licensure and Certificate of Need (CON) approvals. We have created the legal entity necessary to operate the facility; negotiated and drafted leases and physician staffing contracts; and provided advice as to licensure, billing and payment issues. Finally, we have provided counsel regarding the purchase, sale or creation of joint venture ambulatory care facilities, including analyzing the fraud and abuse aspects of such transactions.
