Home Health and Hospice Organizations
Ober|Kaler has extensive experience in advising home health agencies and hospices.
We assist home health agencies and hospices in developing compliance programs, and have conducted internal investigations when clients learn of potential reimbursement problems. We work on agreements between nursing homes and hospices, as well as agreements to provide services in other settings. We are familiar with special requirements applicable to home health agency ownership changes under Medicare.
Given the government's close scrutiny of home health and hospice services over the past several years, we routinely advise clients on avoiding potential risk areas and represent those who find themselves under government investigation.
