CMS Issues Proposed 60 Day Repayment Rule

The Affordable Care Act put in place a 60 day time limitation for the return of overpayments by providers and suppliers. CMS posted its proposed rule addressing this requirement on February 14; publication is expected in the Federal Register on February 16. A copy of the proposed rule can be found here [PDF].
