Grounds for Complaint? McCormick Sues Over Spice-bottle Design Jonathan Holda is quoted on the trademark infringement suit filed by McCormick & Co. against one of the company's suppliers. The suit alleges that Weatherchem Corp. has been producing a spice grinder similar to McCormick's and selling it to McCormick's competitors. Jonathan points out that Weatherchem might have hurt itself by explicity advertising its spice grinder as having the "same packaging shape as brand leaders."
