Prior to joining Ober|Kaler, Tom chaired the Health Care Practice Group at Hodes, Pessin & Katz, P.A. and served as Managing Attorney at Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation.
A frequent writer and lecturer on health care legal issues, Tom is active in the American Health Lawyers Association and the American and Maryland Societies for Health Care Risk Management. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law (J.D., with honors, 1979) and The Johns Hopkins University (B.A., with high honors, 1976).
Kristin C. Cilento joins the Group as an associate handling fraud and abuse, transactional, reimbursement, and licensing and certification matters. Before arriving at Ober|Kaler, Kristin worked as an extern in the Maryland Veterans Caucus of the Maryland General Assembly and as an intern to the Honorable John Philip Miller, Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
She is a graduate of James Madison University (B.S., magna cum laude, 2003) and the University of Maryland School of Law (J.D., 2006) where she served as Staff Editor of the Journal of Healthcare Law.
