BALTIMORE February 5, 2007 Paul W. Kim, counsel and member of Ober|Kaler's Health Law practice, has been elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Membership in The Fellows is limited to one third of one percent of all lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. According to the selection criteria, Mr. Kim demonstrates "outstanding dedication to the welfare of the community and the tradition of the profession." Mr. Kim plays an active role in promoting legal professionalism. He is president of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Maryland, and serves on the Health Law Section Steering Committee of the District of Columbia Bar. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Equal Justice Council of the Legal Aid Bureau, American Health Lawyers Association, and the Health Care Compliance Association. He writes and lectures extensively on health care issues.
