BALTIMORE, MD — July 15, 2008 - Ober|Kaler today announced that attorney Donald C. Greenman has authored the section on United States law for the fourth edition of Prof. William Tetley's Marine Cargo Claims. Mr. Greenman's analysis and commentary focuses on maritime transportation law as it applies to the United States. The book was recently released for the first time in twenty years and is an international resource for attorneys who practice admiralty law. Mr. Greenman is Of Counsel with Ober|Kaler, concentrating on admiralty matters, general litigation, commercial transactions and international law issues. Also an author and editor, Mr. Greenman is nationally recognized for the writing of chapters and publications focusing on maritime and international law. For the past nineteen years, Mr. Greenman has been recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in America in the Maritime Law Category. He has edited American Maritime Cases for a number of years. He is also a prominent member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, for which he chairs the Committee on Carriage of Goods. He is active in the American, Baltimore City and Maryland State Bar Associations, as well as the Maritime Administrative Bar Association. Mr. Greenman is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy (B.S. with high honors, 1960) and the University of Virginia School of Law (LLB., 1968). He resides in Baltimore.
