Patrick's practice covers several disciplines. As a member of the firm's Business & Tax Group and chair of the Transactional Section, he represents various corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships on a broad range of issues, from incorporation and organization, to acquisition, to dissolution and wind-down.
Patrick also represents various international banks, national banks, state-chartered commercial banks, trust companies, leasing companies, mezzanine lenders, and other creditors in various international and multi-state transactions involving senior secured credit facilities, subordinated debt offerings, equity offerings, working capital lines of credit and letters of credit (both documentary and standby), asset-based lending, tax-motivated single-investor and leveraged lease transactions, secured loans, municipal finance and other similar commercial transactions.
Patrick serves as counsel to underwriters, trustees and borrowers on a number of tax-exempt and taxable bond issues in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Finally, Patrick represents clients in numerous debt restructurings, informal out of court workouts, and Chapter 11 business reorganizations both before the Bankruptcy Courts in Maryland and elsewhere. |
