  Experience

As a member of Ober|Kaler's Employment & Labor Group, Carla represents employers in discrimination and harassment claims, wage/hour claims, FMLA and benefit disputes, contract disputes, defamation and invasion of privacy claims, covenants against competition, and other business-related tort claims. Carla also offers litigation avoidance advice to employers, encouraging the development of employment policies and agreements, including employee handbooks, arbitration agreements, non-competition and trade secret agreements, employment contracts, and separation and severance agreements. As reflected in her comprehensive publication, Maryland Employment Law Forms and Practice Manual, Carla offers an especially practical focus as she counsels clients on a wide range of day-to-day legal issues relating to the employee/employer relationship.
