Larry has extensive experience over the last twenty-five years in health law, particularly Medicare/Medicaid payment and compliance issues involving hospitals, physicians, pharmacies and other providers; fraud and abuse counseling and defense relating to the False Claims Act as well as the Stark and anti-kickback statutes; government investigations relating to health care billing and coding issues; regulatory compliance advice for hospitals, nursing facilities, pharmacies and other health facilities and professionals; and hospital ratesetting under the Maryland Medicare waiver. Larry regularly advises clients regarding the regulatory aspects of health care acquisitions. He has also represented individual and institutional clients before numerous administrative agencies and boards in cases involving payment disputes, licensing issues, and a wide variety of other regulatory matters.
