John Wolf is Chairman of Ober|Kaler, where he practices in construction contract negotiation, litigation and Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR) matters. John's practice involves power, industrial, public works and commercial projects in many jurisdictions, domestically and internationally. He is former Chair of the firm's Litigation and Construction practice.

John is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has tried major construction cases in numerous jurisdictions. He represents owners/developers, lenders and other funding agencies, design-builders, engineers, construction managers, contractors and equipment manufacturers.

John also arbitrates as an advocate before panels of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), Center for Public Resources (CPR) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and represents clients in mediations, mini-trials and dispute review board matters. John also serves as a neutral in ADR matters, as an arbitrator in domestic and international arbitrations and as a mediator.

John serves as a member of the Washington & Lee University Board of Trustees. He has served as the chair of the University's national annual fund, on the University's Athletic Council, past President of the Law School Alumni Association, and is a recipient of the University's Distinguished Alumnus Award and Honorary Order of the Coif.
